Meet Aaron Lottes, Professor of Engineering Practice in the Purdue University Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and Assistant Dean for Engineering in Indianapolis. With deep expertise in regulatory and clinical science and medical device translation, Lottes empowers engineers and clinicians to navigate the pathway from concept to clinic.

Through his leadership in the Medical Technology Advance Program (MTAP) and his coursework in medical device development and regulatory processes, he prepares teams to design safe and effective child centered technologies. His work strengthens the Midwest’s pediatric device ecosystem and embodies the mission of the Crossroads Pediatric Device Consortium: accelerating life changing medical innovations for children.

Through his leadership with the Crossroads Pediatric Device Consortium, Dr. Lottes helps accelerate the development of pediatric technologies that meet the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and accessibility.
